Our approach to product feedback

Here at Power Factors, we take product feedback extremely seriously. We believe that listening to our customers, team members, and prospects - by taking their ideas on board - is a sure-fire way to build better products.
We use your feedback to identify the most important features, ideas, pain points, and opportunities so that you can get more value from our products as efficiently as possible.


The benefits of giving us your product feedback

If you take the time to submit your product feedback to us, it means that you have a direct say in how our products develop over time. It means that your ideas are valued and listened to, rather than filed away and ignored.
Ultimately, it allows us to work with you to build the best products we possibly can.

What happens to your product feedback

Our product teams meet regularly with the CSMs, to go through new ideas. Once we have verified that an idea isn’t already available in the system, and seems like a good idea, we change the status to Accepting Votes. Then more people can vote, prioritize, and give us information. This allows us to gauge demand, gather use cases, and establish impact & value.

If we decide to implement an idea, the status will change to Planned or In Development. When it’s done, the status will change to Delivered. Anyone who has submitted or voted on a specific request will be notified when the status of the request is updated. We will always provide an explanation as to the nature of the status update.

Unfortunately, not all requests are in line with our vision and strategy, so sometimes we reject them. When this happens, the status will be changed to Archived and we’ll add a note to let you know that it won’t be delivered.


How we choose what to implement

When we plan a release, we use many factors to help decide which suggestions to implement, including:

  • Customer feedback - there are many ways we listen for your feedback:
    formal customer interviews and other research activities
    events like conferences and trade shows
    comments and votes on issues here in Greenbyte & BluePoint Influence
  • CSM team insights - our CSM team knows which issues are the most challenging and most common for customers.
  • Product analytics - we track how users move through the system, which helps us understand how existing features are being used.
  • Product strategy - our long-term strategic vision for the products.
If you reach out directly to our support or customer success teams, they'll be able to look up the ideas for you, but they won't have any additional information or provide an estimate for when your item will be reviewed.


Custom applications

Sometimes you need functionality that is specific to your needs and not necessarily useful for other customers or in line with Power Factors strategic goals. These special requests are addressed through custom applications, which can be developed by you, using the Greenbyte API, by third-party partners, or by Power Factors for an additional fee. If you are interested in having a custom application built, contact your CSM.

  1. Login issues

    I am required to input log in details both on the mobile app and on the online version far more frequently than I used to. This has resulted in a lot of people within my company not using the greenbyte platform any longer.

    On the mobile app it is almost every time I log in.

    Can this be amended?

  2. select work party leader AT/CT in separate tab from the rest of the work party

    working under WTSR we need the ability to reduce human error as far as possible to prevent HSE incidents occurring we need a feature that lets us select the work party leader then selected the correct Documentation for use AWP/ROP before then selected the rest of the work party-
    Reason being if you accidentally select the wrong person or multiple people before selected the documentation then the system in its current from does not differentiate between who the party leader and leaves open the ability to give control to a technician using documentation He/She is not authorized to use which…

  3. Option to change delimiter in CSV export data

    The export data option with .CSV files has only the option to use comma (,) as a delimiter. Biut in a lot of countries, the semi colom (;) is the normal delimiter. It takes now a manual action every time we export data. Could you add a feature where you can choose which delimiter to use?

  4. Pop-up to show full text when css text-overflow is used

    In a widget, when a device name doesn't fit in the column width, the text gets trimmed with "..." suffix.

    It would be great if we could have a pop-up showing the full text in case of mouse over.

  5. Risk of Multiple Log Ons

    Breeze allows multiple site /device access by the same person. Breeze should support the logging on work flow by flagging already logged on persons under "select personnel" and warns the Operator that that technician is alrady logged and if you want to proceed.

    It would be great to acknowledge status codes in the status log or categorisation tab using the the mass edit tool

  8. Single Sign On and external authentication

    We utilise Microsoft SSO for our IDAM across all our SaaS platforms and Breeze should allow sign on with OAUTH.

    This is now a security requirement for all our platforms, and considering Breeze taps into to Operational systems, its a key target for these requirements.

  9. Export status file by stops only

    We would like to export the status file by only a certain type of status such as stops. Currently we can export the status file only but it includes all status types.

  10. Make it possible to generate a report of Predict alerts for one or multiple turbines

    In order to act upon a Predict alert, it is often necessary for the user to share the finding with an external stakeholder (e.g. the OEM). However, it is difficult to get Predict alerts out of the system - most users need to resort to taking screenshots of individual graphs and re-assembling them in an email or word document.

    Having the ability to generate a .pdf report of Predict alerts for one or multiple turbines would make it much easier to share Predict findings; a critical step in getting issues resolved.

  11. Predict - Be able to create statistics of Predict alerts

    Currently, Predict provides a list of alerts to be managed. However, there is a lack of functionality to create statistics around Predict. E.g. repetitions per turbine/component, timelines, summaries (Dirty Dozen). Having the ability to create statistics would be great.

  13. Filter/search alerts in the Administrate page

    The list of alerts that we have is already big and still growing. Visiting the Administrate Alerts page is becoming tricky. It would be great to have a search box or filter to make searches easier, such as on the Users page.

  14. Editing excluded or included status codes in the dashboard widgets

    It would be of great value to be able to edit the statuses from the widget options "exclude" and "include" not only once. As we are filtering out status codes into different widgets, and this is a running process, it would be helpful to be able to edit these entries one by one. Until now for each status change, we need to start again from scratch. This is very time time confusing and it is not possible to double check the selected entries once saved, as they are not visibly connected to their status set.

  16. Notification when new devices are added for API-using partners

    A simple notification to partner companies that devices have been changed or added. A change log to allow third party users of API or other to reconfigure their systems and add new devices to API. Alternatively there would be an option to include ALL devices in the API with new sites and devices added automatically.

  19. Variance to Budget for Plots

    Add an option to display the variance to budget for plots. For example, if we display a device or site energy with the energy budget, accumulated over a period, we would like to see the variance listed in percent over or under budget

  20. Create task in the status log with mass edit.

    Many times you have multiple event stops that you want to set in a task.
    Now you have to create a task and set the events one by one in a task.
    It would be nice that you can select multiple status events (as you do with mass comments or allocation) and add all the events to one task.
    This to make a clear view for the customer.
