The next areas to receive time zone support are likely to be Data Studio and parts of the Plan section.

Any comments and feedback about the releases are welcome. We’d also welcome feedback on which other areas of the product you need to visualise in Site Time, since this will help our prioritisation. Thanks.

We are in the process of adding Site Time support to other areas of the product – we will be releasing this incrementally. The next areas to receive Time Zone functionality will be Status Log, Status Categorization and Alert Log.

As you have probably seen, you now have static time zone badges on your platform, showing that the data on each page is being visualized in Company Time (i.e. same as it always has been). This will be replaced in several pages with a selector to choose Site Time instead – this is just Stage One. We are rolling out the functionality incrementally. The option to select Site Time for Export Data and Monitor widgets on Site and Device will be the first out of the door.

It’s time for time zones!

Over the coming weeks we will roll out the ability to visualize data in Site Time – the time zone at the site (wind or solar farm). At present, all customer data is visualized in Company Time – the time zone your company chose to display data in when they connected to Greenbyte.
